Back from the Brink needs YOU!

We're looking for 5 creative talents, from any specialty, to run a series of small events/workshops across England starting from April 2019 till March 2020.
If you have a passion for people, place, nature and engagement then take a look. We'd love to see a range of skills apply - anything from poetry to pottery - this is all about getting people involved!

If you need inspiration then take a look at the range of Community Art events that have happened in the last year, here.

If you would like to apply, please download the below document which contains both details on the role itself and the application form:

  1. I am a carer to my 18 year old son with autism (he is a creative media student), my 27 year old daughter is a professional international film maker and photographer (creativity is in our genes). I am well travelled, ex NHS staff (Orthopaedic Practioner), volunteer, RBG KEW museum steward , colour technologist, florist , artist , crafter with many skills and designer. I am currently on the Crafter’s Companion and Spectrum Noir design teams also freelance for international craft magazine publications. I will have a go at most crafts from yarn and jewellery making to painting and pottery.
I have two whippets, love hiking, all wildlife/nature especially alpacas , dragonflies, countryside and sea/beach.
If there is anything which you think may be suitable for any of our skills, please feel free to contact me.

(After 5th February please – I am currently on a photo shoot in Iceland)
I have a YouTube channel for craft tutorials, but it has not been updated for a year due to the terminal illness and passing of my mother – it is something I will get back to soon.
In the meantime I have posted my Pinterest link with some design team crafting makes.
