Saving England's most threatened species from extinction

Looking back at our model-making workshop…

Chris' sculptural workshops took place last week at a local school in Thetford which sits within the Brecklands area - home to our Shifting Sands project...

So that was fun, hectic and very productive!

The sessions at the school went really well and the young students were brilliant, very patient and persevered with tricky new skills like wire-bending, wrapping and tying 3D shapes together. Each participant produced their own Shifting Sands species sculpture which was then added to the curious collection for everyone to enjoy.

All the finished work will remain on display at the school for a week or so before the final phase of work begins back at my studio in Norwich. For more images and videos of the event please see the Twitter link below.

For more on the day itself, go to our Community Arts Diary blog here.
