The story of this gallery

Over the past four years we have been collating artworks from our creative events, creating a collection of the weird and wonderful – all celebrating England's rarest species.

By providing community art experiences and workshops, our audiences discovered more about threatened species through creative means. We hope to have strengthened people's emotions towards species and places, deepening their relationship and connection with nature.

We hope this leads people to value nature and increase the likelihood of them acting to protect it.

Saving endangered wildlife

Back from the Brink is one of the most ambitious conservation projects ever undertaken. The Art of Saving Species is a crucial part – it allowed us to offer opportunities to the public in which they could create relationships with species and explore those emotional connections, giving longevity to our impact and legacy.
