Lantern Making
Communities of local people were brought together to capture and get to know moths, make special lanterns, and go on a night walk to celebrate the wildlife of the Brecks.
Back from the Brink artist in residence Linden Katherine McMahon ran the workshops with Sharon Hearle from Butterfly Conservation on-hand to lead the discovery and learning of moths caught in the light traps.
Processionary walks, craft, and getting close to the species that live around them gave individuals a special opportunity to connect with nature and celebrate it.
