Top Lodge Visitor Centre, Fineshade, Corby, NN17 3BB

Meet in the main car park (near the children's park)

Date: 15th January 2020

Time: 10am - 3.30pm

Our Roots of Rockingham project would like to invite you to start the New Year getting fit in the fresh air and help the Adder population of the Rockingham Forest.

Back from the Brink are teaming up with Forestry England volunteers to clear an important glade for basking adders.

This vital habitat work takes place during the colder months when adders are safely dormant underground and ensures that plenty of light can reach the woodland floor when they re-emerge in spring to bask and warm up before finding a mate.

Hot drinks and biscuits, also known as volunteer fuel, will be supplied in great abundance!

Free event but booking required - they don't want to run out of biscuits!
