Autumn Woodland Miniatures Pottery Workshop with Kathryn Parsons

Location:

Online Event - Zoom

Date: Friday 30th October 2020

Time: 9.30-11.00am and 1.00-2.30pm

As part of our Roots of Rockingham project join community artist Kathryn Parsons for this wonderfully creative online event.

Let the woods inspire you!

Join Back from the Brink and celebrate the minute, beautiful details of the deciduous woodland habitats of the Rockingham Forest this Autumn with Kathryn Parsons, artist in residence with the Langdyke Trust.

This 90min Zoom workshop will help you to develop your clay modelling skills to produce miniature sculptures inspired by the natural world. Clay and simple tools are provided for you to keep and the polymer clay can be heated in a home oven.

Once you have chosen a workshop slot on Eventbrite (you only need to book one) the organiser will contact you regarding the materials required.

Your Zoom link will be emailed to you ahead of the event.

You will need a laptop or PC with webcam to participate in this event, we recommend having a damp cloth handy for cleaning your hands. Full instructions on how to safely heat the finished sculptures will be provided. We recommend using an oven thermometer to accurately check your oven temperature.
