Barberry Planting Bonanza!

Join our Barberry Carpet Moth project team and regular volunteers for a Barberry Planting Bonanza!

The team will be at The Milldown in Blandford on Friday 10th January 2020, meeting at the car park for the site (point B on the link below – DT11 7UF) at 10:15am, and will be working at Point C.  You will be working with staff form Dorset County Council who manage the site.  The plan is to plant around 50 Barberry plants and protect them with guards and stakes.

If there is time afterwards the plan is to head up to Bonsley Wood a couple of miles away to infill gaps in last years’ plantings (parking at Point B on the link below – nearest postcode DT11 0QF).

You are welcome to join the team for all or part of the day.  All tools are provided plus tea and coffee.  Please bring lunch, waterproofs and work gloves if you have them (spares will be available).
