As part of Back from the Brink's Shifting Sands project, Butterfly Conservation experts are running a hands-on day of moth trapping & butterfly walks at Cavenham Heath!
This event is aimed at beginners: hear about local moths & butterflies, learn how to ID different species, hunt for the Forester moth (pictured), and get involved in local wildlife conservation."
Meeting at 9:30am at Cavenham Heath NNR. There will be a short introductory talk on local moths and butterflies, followed by the opening up of moth traps and learning species ID skills.
We will then end with a guided walk to search for the beautiful Forester moth - estimated finishing time is 1pm.
Make sure to bring suitable clothes, sturdy footwear & lunch. We'll provide the rest!
