Volunteer Day at RSPB Farnham Heath reserve. Clearing scrub to restore heathland for field crickets with a bonfire to keep everyone warm and burn up the materials removed.
No specialist skills are required, though a good level of fitness and a desire to work outside is essential. You will need an up-to-date tetanus injection and to enjoy working as part of a team.
