Pen and Water
Artist Amanda Clark-Price, once again, joins the Gems in the Dunes team to bring you an experimental painting workshop using just a black pen and some water! In this 2 hour workshop you will be guided step by step through a range of simple but effective mark-making, pen and wash drawing techniques resulting in some experimental work and at least one beautiful finished pen and wash drawing inspired by the Sefton coast at Ainsdale.
This free, online, 2 hour workshop.
To take part you will need:
- Image of the coast for inspiration (to be provided by us)
- thin nib black pen that runs when wet (Bic "intensity" fine is recommended)
- 4 pieces of A4 cartridge or sketchbook paper
- scrap paper
- scissors
- small paintbrush (size 8 or 10)
- ruler
- pencil rubber
- small pot of water
- kitchen roll / tissue
To book your place, or for further information, please contact us by emailing: gems-in-the-dunes@arc-trust.org.
A zoom link will be provided upon confirmation.
