Castor Hanglands National Nature Reserve

(meeting place to be provided upon booking)

Date: Wednesday 26th February 2020

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

As part of our Root of Rockingham project, join Back from the Brink on Castor Hanglands to improve habitat for all kinds of creatures, as part of a wider program of contracted works to widen rides for butterflies and other wildlife, ready for emerging woodland flora to be manged through a new mowing regimen.

Please wear sturdy work boots or wellingtons, practical clothing you don't mind getting muddy. If you have well fitting work gloves you are welcome to bring those but tools and PPE are provided.

Bring a packed lunch, plenty to drink (it's thirsty work) warm layers and waterproofs just in case.

Hot drinks and biscuits are provided during breaks.

Free event but booking required.
