Grey Long-eared Bat Workshop 1.30pm - 3.30pm

A pair of free, informal workshops run by poet Ella Frears and artist Ben Sanderson, who have been working with conservation organisation Back from the Brink to help raise awareness of some of the UK’s most at-risk species.

Both the Narrow Headed Ant and the Grey Long-eared Bat can be found close to Exeter and are at risk. There are as few as 1,000 of these bats left and the numbers are still falling. Likewise, there is just one population of Narrow-headed Ants left in England.

Ella and Ben will be run these workshops - aimed at adults, along with Ant and Bat specialists to consider the roles art and poetry can play in our greater understanding of these wonderful species.

Come to one or the other or both. No writing/art experience necessary. Both workshops are free. Booking recommended.
