Saving England's most threatened species from extinction

Managing Woodlands with Wildlife in Mind

Location:

Ring Haw Field Station, Old Sulehay, Yarwell, PE8 6PA

Date: Wednesday 14th August

Time: 9.30am - 4pm

Calling landowners, land managers and foresters - as part of our Roots of Rockingham project, join us to discover how you can play your part in conserving our valuable woodland wildlife.

Learn about the importance of woodland habitats for a variety of species, including birds, plants, butterflies, bats & reptiles, and how even simple changes to land management can provide vital habitat for rare and common species.

There will be short talks in the morning focusing on species ecology and habitat management techniques, followed by a site visit in the afternoon.

This is a free event but booking is required.

Contact Liz Morrison at rootsofrockingham@butterfly-conservation.org or on 01780 444067 to book your place or for more information.
