A fantastic opportunity to attend a training session led by ARC (Amphibian and Reptile Conservation) in identifying test egg-laying burrows of sand lizards, which is a recommended way or surveying for this species.
We are offering this training to enable people to be able to recognise and record burrows. We hope that people will then be able to record on scrapes on our BftB sites, and we’ll be asking if people would like to “adopt” particular sites to check.
Meet at Great Ovens, Lawsons Clump Car park in Wareham Forest Grid Ref SY 921909
