Saving England's most threatened species from extinction

Help the Brecks

Location: See below

Date: 27th Feb

Time: See below

We'll be hand-stripping turf at Eriswell Low Warren to promote the growth of rare Brecks plants, e.g. Perennial Knawel, a plant which is found only in the Brecks & nowhere else on earth!
A very active event - good chance to do some hands-on conservation work.

Meeting at 10am in a designated lay by on Brandon road (A1065) - postcode IP27 9BS should get you close, but we'll have Natural England staff in high vis directing you in.
Estimated end time 3pm.
Volunteers will need to bring lunch, warm clothes & sturdy footwear, we'll provide the rest of equipment.

Anyone who's planning on coming should email: Philippa.Mountjoy@NaturalEngland.org.uk or ring: 02085654977, so we can make sure we have enough equipment.
